Our Inception.

EmpowerFit was built on the belief that strength is earned through discipline and sustained by purpose.

Our journey began in a high school weight room, where the foundation of training, grit, and personal accountability first took shape. That path carried forward into military service and years of coaching strength training and bootcamp-style fitness.

In February 2026, EmpowerFit was launched honorably in Omaha, Nebraska,  by way of Scottsdale, Arizona, with a clear mission: help people break the chains of old habits and build lasting strength through disciplined training.

Motivation starts the journey.

My name is Derek, and fitness has never been just something I do, it’s a discipline that has shaped the course of my life.

My journey began in the weight room during high school, where I first discovered that training was more than physical exercise. It was a process that built confidence, accountability, and resilience. That early foundation ultimately led me into the United States Army, where those lessons were tested and refined under real standards.
